Privacy panels provide targeted screening in washrooms, shower rooms, changing rooms and mixed-use facilities, blocking sightlines at entry points or between individual positions without the need for a full cubicle enclosure. They are widely specified where a room layout creates exposed sightlines from a door or window, or where an open-plan changing area requires subdivision.
Aquastar manufactures privacy panels in four materials. MFC (Melamine Faced Chipboard) is a cost-effective option for lower-moisture environments. MR MFC (Moisture-Resistant MFC) is suited to washrooms where occasional splashing occurs. CGL (Compact Grade Laminate) is a fully waterproof, homogeneous solid laminate panel and the most durable option for direct-water environments. MR MDF (Moisture-Resistant MDF) is a smooth, post-formed option suited to areas without heavy water exposure. All four materials are available in an extensive range of colours, wood effects and decorative finishes.
Every panel is bespoke made to your dimensions. Provide us with the installation measurements, the position type (wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling, cantilever or pilaster-style) and your material preference and we will manufacture accordingly. Panels are supplied pre-drilled and ready to fit, with full fitting instructions. Fittings can be upgraded to premium specification on request.

Privacy panels are used in any setting where a washroom or changing area layout creates an exposed sightline. Common installations include: panels blocking the view of toilet positions from a main washroom door; shower room dividers in leisure and healthcare settings; and changing room screens separating individual positions in sports facilities and gyms.
CGL is a solid laminate board that is fully waterproof, highly impact-resistant and available in the widest range of decorative finishes. MR MDF has a moisture-resistant core but is not fully waterproof; it is a cost-effective option for areas with limited moisture exposure. For washrooms and shower areas, CGL is the stronger specification.
Yes. We manufacture panels to any height specification, including floor-to-ceiling panels where a complete visual barrier is required. Simply provide us with the room height and required coverage dimensions and we will design accordingly.
Yes. Standard fittings are included with all panels. Premium fittings are available on request and are recommended for high-traffic or high-specification environments.
